Outrageous New Scent of Avon
By: Trinidad Guardian

Sunday September 05,

There’s a new fragrance for women on the local market that’s definitely feminine, but bold. Outspoken is the name of the perfume developed by Avon for the multi-platinum solo artist Fergie, who is also a lead vocalist with the world-renowned music group Black Eyed Peas. Avon, the company for women, together with it’s local consultants Anthony P Scott & Company Limited launched the product last Wednesday. Local fans of the international songtress could now access this maiden line through any of the 3,000 Avon representatives in T&T.

Apart from the fragrance, there’s a lotion and a locket which holds a gel-like version of the actual perfume, which makes for a excellent gift set. Launched almost three months ago in the United States, then in Europe, Outspoken is now in the Caribbean. Outspoken needs no introduction. The fragrance personifies women who are not only fearless, but confident and courageous enough to let her personality shine. Joy Dass, Avon’s district manager said the scent is one that professional women can identify with.

According to the programme’s foreword, Fergie said: “I’m so excited to partner with Avon to develop my first-ever fragrance. I’m always seeking out new ways to express myself, and, fragrance is the perfect opportunity to share my originality and confidence with my fans and the Avon consumer. I couldn’t be happier to be working with a brand with such a strong reputation for supporting women.”
