Appleton Jamaica Rum will be the main alcoholic beverage sponsor for the premium bars at Styleweek 2k10. According to Saint International, organisers of Styleweek, "Appleton Jamaica rum, through their Appleton Genesis and Appleton 'Special' brands, are main alcoholic sponsors of this year's Styleweek event.

"We are happy to have Appleton on-board. As one of Jamaica's internationally recognised brands, it brings a special touch to the experience of Styleweek Jamaica," read a release from Saint International.

The Appleton brand has been aligned with Saint's high-end fashion products since the early part of the decade when the brand was lead sponsor of Jamaica's Avant Garde Designer Of The Year contest. The event was created by Saint CEO Deiwght Peters as a way to encourage and award the creative spirit of the country's new and established designers and to promote the ideal of thinking outside the box.

Styleweek Jamaica 2010 begins on July 9 at 9 p.m. with the International Men's Collection at Devon House (South Lawn).

On July 10, The International Mecca Of Style (Fort Charles, Port Royal) takes place while the blockbuster Fashionblock hits Knutsford Boulevard on July 11.
