With less than three days to go before decision day, Monday’s General Election was the furthest thing on the minds of 543 teachers from several schools across the nation, who last week were placed on the breadline after having their services terminated.
Some teachers, Newsday was told fainted, when they got their termination letters from the Service Commission Department on behalf of the Permanent Secretary in the Education Ministry.
