Scores of disgruntled police officers are expected to stage a second round of sick-out action tomorrow and Tuesday to show their disapproval over the Chief Personnel Officer's five per cent increase in salaries.
This action is expected to affect the nine policing divisions and units within the Police Service.
President of the Police Association Sgt Anand Ramesar said yesterday the association did not and will not approve of any sick-out action by police officers. He said at a meeting of the general council on Friday, members discussed other options to highlight concerns about the negotiations.
