West Indies cricket skipper, Chris Gayle, is back in the top five of the ICC batting rankings.
The Jamaican-born captain has returned to the top ranks for the first time in eight months after back-to-back half-centuries in the ongoing one day series with Zimbabwe.
All-rounder Gayle is now ranked fifth. Gayle also jumped five places to ninth spot in the ICC ODI player rankings for all-rounders led by Shakib al Hasan.
Meanwhile, Guyanese batting star, Shivanrine Chanderpaul, fell to 8th in the rankings which was updated after the second ODI between the West Indies and Zimbabwe in Guyana.
